Our PCB Repair Process

       

                                                      ⚡ How It Works

  1. 📲 Send Issue Details (Phone / Text / WhatsApp)

    Share a brief description and 1–3 clear photos. We’ll do a quick feasibility check before you bring or ship anything.

  2. ✅ Approval to Proceed

  3. Choose one:

  4. 🏢 Drop-off at our office — ‼️ OPEN/UNSEALED or UN-TAPED packages are NOT accepted. The box must be closed and taped; the board in an ESD (anti-static) bag and cushioned/immobilized inside.

  5. 📦 Ship the board to us (sender covers shipping)

  6. 🚚 Request local pickup (nearby areas; fee applies)

  7. 🔎 Diagnostic Inspection — up to 3 business days

    Initial inspection is free. If parts must be used during diagnosis, we’ll inform you first and a diagnostic fee may apply.

  8. 💬 Quote & Approval

    We send a detailed repair quote with ETA. No work begins without your approval.

  9. 🧰 Parts Order & Repair

    After approval, we source parts and perform component-level repair and quality checks.

  10. 🔁 Return & Your Testing (3 days)

    We return or you pick up the board for up to 3 days of in-system testing. (Transit time not included.)

  11. 🧾 Confirm & Pay

    If everything works as expected, confirm and submit payment. We finalize shipment/pickup and close the job.

  12. 🔄 If Not Repairable (after all attempts)

    We’ll offer a replacement option (used/refurbished or brand-new).

    If any fee has been collected for repair, that amount will be deducted from the offered replacement price.

 

📌 Notes (optional to display)

  • If the board fails during your testing, we’ll re-evaluate and retry or suggest alternatives.

  • If you decline the quote and no costs were incurred, we’ll return your board at no charge—or recycle it upon your written authorization.

 

🚚 Shipping & Handling

  • 📦 Packaging: Use an ESD (anti-static) bag and a sturdy box; immobilize heavy components and use ample cushioning.

  • ⛔ Drop-off rule: OPEN/UNSEALED or UN-TAPED packages are NOT accepted. The box must be closed and taped; the board must be in an ESD bag and secured with internal cushioning.

  • 🛡️ Responsibility: The sender/customer is responsible for packing the board so it will not be damaged in transit. PCB Tech USA is not liable for shipping damage caused by inadequate packaging. We recommend tracked & insured shipping with proper declared value.

  • 🧾 Include inside the box: name, phone, email, return address, and a brief fault description.

  • 🚛 Carriers: UPS / FedEx / USPS.
